Description
Soft pastel painting of a sunset over a landscape with a meandering river and trees, evoking a sense of serenity and quiet. I had France in mind, when I painted this countryside scene, remembering my walks along rivers in mild evenings. I find pastels the ideal medium for conveying certain moods and the harmony one can feel with nature when immersed in it.
